Drop Parties

Occasionally, players host drop parties. They may be quitting, trying to clear out space in their bank, or just feeling generous with their items. Parties are sometimes advertised on forums so that more people attend. They drop the items and the people try to get them. The first drop parties were in many cases scams.

The hosts of these drop parties wanted other people to drop items without dropping anything themselves. Drop parties are now much safer thanks to the drop party hall in Seers Village. People put items in a chest and pull a lever. Once this is done, the items will fly out of the chest inside balloons. There is also a "knight dance" feature on the lever. Originally, the player had to pay 1,000 gold pieces to summon the "Knights of the Party Room", but the price has now dropped to 500 gold pieces.

Barrows Items
