The minigame can not be atempted more than once a week, and you must either get 1 Quest Point or increase 100,000 in total experience. However, Quest Points gotten before you first got to the cave, count towards this requirement. Hence, the more Ques Poitns you had before, the less it matters if you meet the requirement (If you have 104 Quest Points, for example, it will take 2 years -104 weeks- to run out of Quest Points). Be careful if you have little Quest Points: if you attempt to enter the cave before the week is up, you lose a story to tell from your total.

This is a fun game, and you will almost always go up at least one level in your lower skill. Before the Farming came up, I got my Herblore and Runecrafting from around 30 up to 35 in this way. A great time saver as new skills come up!
